Q20, thats the reverb right? That was my first good reverb unit, at the time it was the bomb. It has some effects you won't find anywhere else. And on some things it may sound great. Never had the chance to hook it up digitaly.

I have two. Not to be convused with the Q2.
I use one with Aux 1/2. I generally use reverb/stereo delay configs though I do like some of the morph flanges etc.. Not as good as a PCM 90/91 but I got mine last year new for $400.00 each. Was worth the cash. Still think they are. Low end price, mid range performance. Prefer them over cpu based reverbs. Silk.

Just one question at this point...I had heard that Q20 was "buggy" and Q2 was to be preferred. I do like Q2's ability to copy, move and connect effect blocks around. It may not sound like my Lex, but I do appreciate it's flexibility for "less critical" uses.

I've had one hooked up to my Aux 1/2 ever since I first brought my studio online, two years ago.
I have to agree with Silk. It's a great "bang for the buck" item. Every time I consider getting a new unit, it comes down to a few choices: TC M-one or M-two; Lexicon MPX1; or, do I get another Q20?

Peace,
Shane

Never had any prolbems with the Q20 being buggy. Sonically the Q20 is superior to the Q2. Silk.

Do any of you folks use any of the Alesis drum modules? I'm interested in getting one to trigger from existing tracks.

I use a D4 to replace drums occasionally. It works, but you get a bit of a delay in the triggering. That's OK, since you can delay the rest of the tracks to match back up again with the delayed drum tracks.

I guess I should poke my head in here. I love the Q20's. I use them quite a bit. I use also very high end verbs like lex's and waves r-verb(cpu hog). The Q20 are great in the programability. You can conjure up FX's like in no other mid performance FX. If you really take the time to learn about what you want to program there is no end to the possibilty. The assignable patch routing is good too. I use 6 of them digitally and a couple analog. I have had problems with the digital in's going out on 2 of them and the analog on one went out. But I just switched, the screwed up digital one became the analog and the analog became digital. They have been on for 3 years now.
