My sample drives are another issue, by the way. I have everything backed up in the original library boxes, and I have screen dumps of their directories on my system drive (which is backed up) so I know what's on them.

But copying TBs of data off DVDs would be daunting.

Well, I've been running Windows Home Server for some time now and it works OK, but I like the idea of having a much smaller device that draws less power on all the time. Having a server with all your files on it is powerful in so manys. Access for friends/clients to FTP their files to you/from you. Serving up a blog or photo gallery - with Synology's box you can have up to 30 distinct virtual web sites. DNLA server for my Logitech revue - so I can watch videos, photos or listen to music. Iphone connectivity so I can browse all my files on my iphone. Itunes server. I like the Mac connectivity for Time Machine. Mail server so I can keep my email centralized in one place from multiple sources. Hook up an wireless network IP camera to it and I can monitor the front of house wherever I go - even on my iphone. And the ability to configure and control it all from any computer connected to the internet. It's just cool to get this from a low power device instead of leaving 1 or 2 computers on all of the time.

But how can the buildings have been prepped & rigged for demolition without anyone actually seeing this??

Well back in the 80's when WTC7 was renovated several floors were cut out to make a large atrium and stock trading floors perhaps the construction works strapped C4 to the columns.
