Is too, is too. You're wrong, I'm right.

And now that we agree on that, let me say this: Genelecs reveal everything. You can't hear everything they reveal on NS-10s. Did I mention the reason: Genelecs are more transient and have better dynamics.

This set up should give you ample power:

McIntosh MC2KW Mono block amplifier. 2000 watts into an 8 ohm load and weighing 437 lbs., requires two separate, dedicated 20-amp AC power lines. $30,000.

Double the above for stereo.

So admit you HAVN"T used genelecs in your studio and mixed on them over a long period of time, just parrotting the sound bites you've heard from others who most likely never used them on a full time basis eather.

Just like most of your "reviews", done in a few "hours" after having an argument with your wife over who was supposed to pick up the kids... You were "WRONG" about the Apogee mini AD, I'll say your wrong bevcause i have both the central station and mini AD, and the apogee blows away the CS converters, period!!!! If you can't hear that, then your hearing must come into question Sir Nick of Batsdorf!!!.

If the Genelecs really are transient, you might find them more difficult to work on, seeing as they would remain in place for only a brief period of time. Perhaps a few nails might make them less transient.

Let's put an end to all this bull****. This whole "my speakers are better than yours" is all subjective. It's good to recommend what you're using, but making claims is ridiculous. Besides, most of you gebrones are always looking for the "best deal for the buck" and this attitude won't necessarily get you the best. No disrespect to your relative impoverishment.

Well then lets just close this site sinse everythings subjective. I'm not saying any monitor is better than another. Just making the point that Gens do not automaticaly make a mix sound good. I use 3 sets of monitors now, somethings come out more clearly with the Dynaudios.

We all know Genelecs are better than ns10s. i think ns10s got popular with the studios back in the days where low-end frequencies where not as important and people didn't have subwoofers attached to every speaker system in their homes, cars, and computers. I can see rolling off at 80hz was fine back then. Now everyone wants more lower end. Metal bands tune down to C and B instead of E standard. Hiphop and electronica are key elements to this craze. Most consumer spreakers have boost in the lows and highs. I heards car stereos sound better than ns10s and had better responce. I have a friend who runs a car stereo shop and most he sells are 18" and tweeters and lots of foam padding. No need to fight over who has better gear and try to understand why people have these opinions instead.

JBL/Urei 6230 or 6260. They spec and sound very nice and are basically bullet proof. Not a high end boutique amp but FMM a lot better than any similar rated QSC, Crown, Crest etc. and 1/2 the price or less.

If I'm not mistaken, those old JBL/Urei amps were made by QSC.
