Just uploaded it to my directory, "knobs"

It uses the "custom midi" fader layer only.
It controls a 32 channel, 16 subgroup project quite nicely.
In my Nuendo Mutlitracking Template, I have the EX-1M inserted on channels 1-32 in the 1st insert
slot. I never use the built in Nuendo EQ/comps so I thought others may have done the same thing and find this useful.

Solo buttons 1-6 control the bank switches as follows..
1 > channels 1-16
2 > channels 17-32
3 > groups 1-16
4 > Aux Sends
5 > UAD EX-1M
6 > Recorder (this one still needs work)

I suggest you keep the little remote bank window open at all times. (Assigned to "Alt-G" here)

The UAD bank works on the selected channel's
EX-1M. Every parameter is controllable.
The only drawback is that the "Q" controller
will not throw the Hi-pass/Low-pass switches.
This can be accomplished however by changing the
"max value" setting in the generic remote setup to
126 instead of 127 for the faders. This results in other minor problems though. Like not being able to set the VST mixer faders at exactly zero.
It is a trade off that I hate...
It does the Low-shelf/Hi-shelf switches though.

I may re-work this one to use the pan knob
for the EQ parameters instead of the Compressor parameters.

The EX-1M Bank control is like so:

Fader 1 > band 1 Gain
Fader 2 > band 1 Frequency select
Fader 3 > band 1 Q
and so on up to fader 15.

Fader 16 controls the EQ output

Channel 1 on/off > band 1 in/out
Channel 2 on/off > band 2 in/out
etc..

Channel 6 on/off > EQ enable
Channel 7 on/off > Comp enable
Channel 8 on/off > Comp meter needle on/off

extras:
Channel 9 on/off > VST Mixer Panel
Channel 10 on/off > VST Channel Settings Panel
Channel 11 on/off > VST Send FX Panel
Channel 12 on/off > VST Master FX Panel
Channel 13 on/off > VST Outputs Panel
Channel 14 on/off > VST Inputs Panel
Channel 15 on/off > VST Instruments Panel
Channel 16 on/off > VST Performance Panel

The pan knob controls all the EX-1m's compressor parameters via the selected DA7 channel.

Channel 1 selected > pan > Comp attack.
Channel 2 selected > pan > Comp release.
etc....

The "Aux Sends" bank:

Faders 1 & 2 > Aux send level 1 & 5
Faders 3 & 4 > Aux send level 2 & 6
etc..
Faders 9 > FX 1 Input Level
Faders 10 > FX 2 Input Level
etc...

Channel on/off 1 > Send 1 enable/disable
Channel on/off 2 > Send 5 enable/disable
etc...
Channel on/off 9 > Send 1 pre/post
Channel on/off 10 > Send 5 pre/post
etc...

whew!
