I sold my NS-10s years ago because I hated listening to them, but I didn't have a good amp at the tme. Now I wish I had them again as a reference (although not enough to go out and buy them).
The thing about referencing speakers like that is that you have to work harder to get everything heard, Jeremy. Everything sounds good on your Genelecs because you can hear everything very clearly. That's not the case with NS-10s. Not only do they roll off at 80Hz or something ridiculous, they have a forward midrange, slow transients, and a limited dynamic range.
But I'm very happy with the Blue Sky System Ones and a pair of Crapoli 69 clear plastic computer speakers with subwoofer.
