Hi,
I just picked up my first DA-7 and it has the meter bridge and 3 adat cards. I have a 16 Channel ADAT card and currently have 4 toslink cables hooked up between the ramsa and my pc.

First question - how do I get it set up in cubase as a midi controller?

Should I go JL Cooper CS-10 or HUI Style Emulation?

(I am looking to use it as a total midi control surface in cubase.

2nd question.... there appears to be a minor problem with the master fader. When zero-ing in the master fader my fader goes completely to +10 (the top most extreme of the fader's capacity) yet still registers that it zero'ed on the LCD screen. I am assuming that this might be a software problem or a calibration issue... (I know it could be a bad digital fader) but I'm hopeful... anyone else have this problem or run into it? One more piece of information there.... if I slightly move the fader down from +10 - the LCD screen reads -33.5 and the unit seems to range on the master fader from -90 (at the bottom) to -33.5.

The fader is dirty. If you're lucky, a spray right from the top of a good contact cleaner will do the trick. Finally had one of mine go bad, and a shot with LPS-1 cleared it up instantly.
