Hi Gang,

Is there such a beast as a lightpipe patchbay? With ADATs and MOTU 2408, I'm trying to find the best way to assemble the studio so as to avoid manually plugging/unplugging lightpipes.

Those of you with similar configurations-how are you dealing with this issue?

Thanx!

shrimp -

I paid $519.90 for my Midiman Digipatch 12x6 on the net (and that was probably more than you can get it for nowadays). It works good - except you want to make sure you keep the lightpipe cables to total length of 16 feet (through the patch).

Greg,

Thanks for the tip, I'll be sure to keep it all nice and tight. I guess you've had yours for quite some time, eh? The MSRP is down to $499 and I just ordered one from the local Sam Ash for $429. (I feel pretty damned lucky!)

$429 from Sam Ash, guess I should not tell you this but sweetwater.com has it for $358
But hey doesn't Sam Ash have a lowest price guarantee ? Maybe you can make them match it

Hi, there is the M-Audio DigiPatch 12x6 in the market. This is a digital Patchbay with 12 Coax and 12 Lightpipe connectors.
