Anyone know if there’s a way to control the midi layer using incoming midi.?? This would be extremely useful for controlling more than 16 faders on logic audio with the mixer, since this would allow me (using logic audio)to send the set fader values(on logics audio mixer) of say 1-16, 17-32 etc back to the mixer.In this way the da7's remote layer would always match that of the a6 faders of the logic audio's mixer that I was controlling. Unfortunately I could find no way of controlling the MDI remote layer via midi.

Rick, DA7 software version 2.01 has bi-directional MIDI capabilities. It can be downloaded on this website. The readme file has the instuctions for using the HUI or DAW mode which allows for 8 faders on the DA7 bi-directional MIDI control. All 127 controller numbers are available to create custom MIDI maps...but I haven't had the need to use these functions just yet...
