Just an observation, but the OT threads that get locked are the most popular. The 9/11 thread, for example, has over 1,000 views from this small group. No other discussions come close to that.

The next one closed was almost three pages in one day. Obviously, there is an interest in the topics. I actually come here FOR the OT stuff, a break from the studio schedule.

I love discussing audio, but this is a relatively small gang (of adults) here, and this is a great place for us to discuss that other stuff, and OT topics are common. Just sayin.

Justin still dreams of having a serious audio board. If he didn't let the idiots over run it, he might have had a chance - now it's just a joke.

Well, whatever. It's cool. It's all just discussion.

I think my mix sounds better when I put my drums on every other channel, and then mix only with my left hand. Somehow right handed mixes with drums together doesn't sound as clear.

You know, Joe, I've found exactly the same thing - especially when I'm wearing a prophylactic.

It sure got quiet around here with the popular threads locked. It's all part of a conspiracy...

I feel the censorship days that gripped this country for 8 long years are alive and well here.

Man you guys don't know what the your talking about. A 4 track tascam porta cassette studio well blow away any mix ever done, as long as it's power source is from your toaster wired in mono backwards.

Other than that, if you have not figured it out BY NOW.... Justin does whatever he wants. No disrespect, but it's at his whim. What ever he thinks is wrong (even though Panasonic audio is long gone)..... Justin is Justin. I remember over 8 years ago, when a thread really started getting fun and interesting, Justin would shut it down.

It must be a phycologicl thing. A messed up childhood experience or something. I gave up on him a long time ago about this stuff. Why it it taking you guys so long to figure it out????
