I'm running sonar 7 on pc 1 with an m-audio lightbridge. I'm using the midi i/o of the lightbridge for da7 control. To the same computer i have connected a MOTU fastlane MIDI i/o. I'm running MIDI out of the fastlane to a Peavey PC1600 (for control), then to an m-audio radium midi controller, then to a tascam us-122 connected to pc 2 running gigastudio. For the most part, everything runs fine, but I wanna use drumagog to trigger the gigastudio computer. When I go to drrumagog's advanced page and try to select fastlane port a as midi output port, i get a message that says " error opening midi output. the specified device is already in use. Wait until it is free and try again". I've rebooted everything, to no avail. Any ideas?

Council;
I've had the same problem here. For some reason, it always reports the main MIDI interface as being "busy." This particular problem, I've never found a fix for. Either trying to sort it out on my own, nor looking on the D-gog forum.
Massey has a straight MIDI triggering plugin that looks like it actually works with far less goofing around.
PT only though...

This may not be what you want, but try this?

http://www.stormrecordingstudio.co.uk/VST.htm

I think this just triggers samples. But it's free, and VST.

Thanks for the replys, guys. I expect I'll abandon my idea of triggering Gigastudio with drumagog and invest in some good .gog samples. As I'm on a strict budget, I'm looking at 'Dan's House Vintage Drums'

Any other budget friendly suggestions?
Thanks
