It has USB-1; an external burner works, but only at 4x. The Pismo added FireWIre.

So officially the Lombard can't run Tiger, but the Pismo can.

The purpose of dedicated cables for the AES-SPDIF is a little more than just the connectors. The wire is not standard audio cable, but cable designed to carry digital audio with the proper resistance/capacitance. May or may not notice a difference on

Today I had to install Logic 7 (they're on 8 now) on my Intel Mac in order to open an old sequence I needed. It works now, but what a nightmare. I had to delete packages, bla bla bla.

By the way, I meant I'm installing software on the Mac
