Any slot an ADAT card is in, will show as being crosshatched. Sounds like the cards are good. Try-em.

That's the internal EQ's on the Yamaha DM2000 I've done bigger cuts than that.
It don't matter how far you have to move a fader. You'll notice there's a mode there where you can turn the EQ into a -24db/band range. Never had to

I just bought a pair of ADAT cards off ebay, and when I stuck them into my DA7, under the D-I/O the cards show up as "ADAT" where it had said "No Connect" but the Slot 1 and Slot 2 are still crosshatched. Also, there is light coming out of the output

logical solution? How about what sounds good, and keeps things managable? Here's my EQ from one of my wedges this weekend (1x15" + 2" horn) (outdoor, with a roof)
You're not going to get that on a 4 band parametric.

I thought the logical solution was to not cut any more than 5 frequencies? what do you do, cut the highs and lows too??

And you're assuming you only have 4 frequencies to deal with? (assuming you don't care about HP/LP)

A parametric EQ can be more useful for elimination feedback and properly EQ'ing monitors. How often does a ring lie on the exact middle of a 1/3 octave? I think it would be more effective to zero in on the frequency so the sound isn't too drastically

I've taken the plunge. It's got some amazing new features and I'm using it full time. The comp tool is an amazing time saver.
But..... it's an X.0 release so it's buggy, and requires some fudging to be compatible with many plugs. I

I haven't opened the box yet as building our new place is taking up about 25 hours a day. Once snow comes and things slow down I hope to get it up and running as a front end for my HD TDM hardware.
