Is There a way to hook up the DA7 via firewire. If so what kind of converter do I need? Thanks Steve

Hi Steve,
There is no DA7 to firewire interface like there is for some newer boards (DM-24, Mackie Onyx).

You can still use the DA7 with a Firewire audio interface though. You could go with a MOTU 828 or 896. I am selling my MOTU 2408 and am looking at a Digi 002, althogh the lack of wordclock leaves some questions to be answered by the folks at Sweetwater.

I would reccomend a MOTU 2408 or RME interface, althought they require a PCI slot.

Noah, see my post in the other thread.

You can use S/PDIF instead of word clock. No need to ask the people at GC anything.
