I have just purchased a Samson Q5 headphone amp, and I'm wondering where to connect it into the system. At the moment I have my main studio amp connected into Monitor A out and my crappy stereo connected to Monitor B out for test mixes. Is it worth connecting the Q5 in stereo from, say, Aux 5&6, and having a bit of a faff to get the headphone mix set up, or should I go from a single aux in mono? Or perhaps another way? Anyone got any ideas?

Using the Mon. B outputs allows for input switching between the Mon.A. L/R and any of the aux sends including (digital) Aux 1-2.

Otherwise any of the above could work.

We have the Q5 aslo. We use the monitor B outs, but like maric already said, you could also use any of the aux outs to go to the Q5 as well.
