I have three input cards for lightpipe running to a mx2424. The first two cards return through 17-32. Third states input 9-16. It doesn't. I'm wasting aux space to return tracks. What the hell is up with that? I need a 24 track mix.
Please help I can't reach Carl at tech. support.

Any option card in slot 3 replaces analog inputs 9-16. You can toggle between the two sources in the D-I/O Input Set Window. Look for the little patch-bay diagram in the upper right hand corner of the LCD named Digital Input Select. Cursor to the box with the two toogle switches and hit ENTER on the DA7's top panel. Of course this has all been made easier in the newer versions of software (v1.21 and higher) where pushing both the MMC/Cursor button and the D-I/O buttons simultaniously toggles the inputs of card slot 3 with inputs 9-16. There's info on this in the FAQ's posted on this website and on page 12-9 of the User Guide (you know that little book that come with the mixer). Oh by the way I was able to speak with Carl at Tech support today.
