I want to ask if the best way to route the D/O of the WZ would be to:
A) Send the lightpipe directly to the DAW or
B) Send the lightpipe directly to the ADAT card
in the DA7 then D/I to the DAW? or
C) Send the audio via buss then D/I to the DAW?
I did a session last night and the vocalist was experiencing latency. The audio was delayed back to the vocalist because I have the DAW out back to the console. Should I just send the mic to the channel via ADAT card, then assign L/R(monitor mix) AND assign to the buss or D/O out to the DAW?

I want to use it for both recording situations.
Since I record no more than two sources at a time to the DAW, I would be wasting the other 6-7 outs and could use them to go to the DA7 for mixing.
Would there be delay when routing to the ADAT card then D/O to the DAW via the channel?

Is there another way to do this? I cannot use AES for anything except Mixing down or Mastering if I choose not to use another source converter.
By the way, IS ther and AES splitter box out there somewhere?

Thanks RaJ..............Out..............

Directly to the HDR and headphone mix. I'm guessing you want the 'best' converter just before the recorder ;\)
