I finally had a chance to compair the new WZ pre's with the 7's pre's. A bluegrass two man band came in a with banjo and an accoustic.it was a pre production night just to help these guys get comfy and formulate a good gameplan. they've never recorded before. i originally set them up straight into the DA7 pre's with no outboard stuff because these weren't gonna be keeper tracks. after a couple tunes they took a break and i ran the mic's into the WZ pres. it opened up so much clarity.im dieing to hear the actual tracks through some tubes into the WZ pres.that beginns next week. if its news worthy ill post the results.
