As you can see I am a newby. I have been reading the Q's and A's and hve found them to be very helpful. Thanks to every one. They got me to thinking. Now here is my thought. Before the DA-7 I used the Roland 1680 for regording and mixing. From the Q&a's it appears that the DA-7 has the capacity to act as a MIDI master for all my MIDI devises and onboard effects. What do you recommend I use as recording device to track each input sound for individual effects. I may be able to discontinue using the 1680 and my primary recording device and use it as a compliment to the DA-7.
