I have purchased Logic Audio recently and just installed a Hammerfall 9652 soundcard in my Mac clone computer. I can't seem to get the computer to recognize the Hammerfall soundcard - everytime I run Logic it comes up with an error message and freeze stating that "there is not sufficient Studio I/O hardware" - this seems to relate to the previous card I had installed - any ideas on how to get logic to recognize the Hammerfall soundcard?

Try this:
Under the 'Audio' pulldown, open up 'Audio Hardware and Drivers'. If you've still got StudI/O checked, uncheck it. Now click on the ASIO box. This should recognize the Hammerfall. Worked for me with Logic 4.8.1 and the RME Hammerfall DSP Digiface.
