Anybody used the DA7 FOR 5.1 Mixing, I've just ordered a Da7 and was wondering how easy it is too use in Surround mode compared to say an 03D ?

In my opinion all mid priced "surround" mixers lack the same function, monitoring.

I would like to be able to hear 5.1 , solo out each channel in any configuration, fold into stereo, and fold into mono.

This can be alot to ask from a $5000 mixer, when a Martinsound "multimax" multi format monitor controller cost around $3500.

This is what I call 'easy to use'.

Compared to an o3d, I think it's a lot easier to use for SR, allthough it would be nice to be able to assign the knobs that control front/back.
