Can't someone who speaks Spanish help nanrea synchronize his or her DA7 with Sonar or Cubase?

It's perplexing that only a few threads ago his English was pretty close to perfect.

I did some lateral thinking and asked the questions in english then used a transaltion service to put them into Spanish.

Le ruego me disculpe por no haber atendido, pero tuve un problema y me ausenté de internet. Estoy conectando con un cable minidin de 8 pines en la DA7 y en el otro extremo DB9 al puerto jostick. Mi interfaz es el sofware del Da7 que bajé de internet y mi tarjeta es una Frontier Wave Center digital. Yo coloco el cable y creo debe detectarlo el pc pero no pasa nada. Sigo las instrucciones del manual y nada porque. No sé si el cable tiene que ser DB9 en ambos extremos. Gracias. espero me siga ayudando

Hi allí, esto es una tarjeta fina. Usted debe conectar un cable óptico del lightpipe (ADA) de la salida de su tarjeta con la entrada de su DA7. Para hacer esto usted debe tener una tarjeta de ADAT en una de las ranuras en el DA7. For those of you watching in Black & White

Our friend is trying to connect his Frontier Wave centre soundcard to his DA7 and is getting clicks and pops.

I have gone through the connections and the sync settings.

Hopefully this will sort it.

What you might tell him is to run S/PDIF from the DA7 for the Wavecenter to clock to (using 75 Ohm video cable). There's a simple setting in the Wavecenter control panel to tell it where to gets its clock.

It's never a good idea to use the embedded clock in lightpipe, but lightpipe is very convenient for carrying audio.

By the way, I have three Wavecenters clocked to S/PDIF. I picked up a video distribution amp on eBay to give me more S/PDIFs.
