Hi to All!

I tried to control my Soundscape DAW with the DA7 in HUI mode. I can make the faders of the DA7 moving by moving the faders on the PC screen but when I move the DA7 faders nothing happens on the screen...

I checked my connections and midi setup...

The midi icon who flashes when it receives the controller from my PC software don't work when I move the DA7 faders... is it normal?...

Maybe Maric or other DA7 gurus may help me please?

...In order to have bi-directional MIDI-DAW/HUI control the mixer must have been updated to software version 2.0 or higher.

Also, check the MIDI-RX (recieve) and TX (transmit) setting in the MIDI Setup window.

The DA7 is in v2.01 and in HUI mode.
May you tell me (if you have time) the exact values in the MIDI SETUP page...

I just tried it with DP4 and it works great.

Ok, thanks Nick for your clear procedure but I already configured the DA7 exactly the way you explained it...

...always the same problem, the DA7 receives the MIDI controls but it can send it to the DAW...

... HHEEELLLLPPP !!!....

If the DA7 isn't sending MIDI, you must have a setting wrong, O. Are you sure it isn't a Soundscape setting?

have you checked your MIDI cables?

you could try master resetting the console and re-configuring it for HUI mode.
