Hi!

I have questions for MAX users:

I didn't succed using the "Fader Control" function (AUX with faders) when MAX is running ??? It's a fantastic feature of the DA-7. How to do it with Max running?

The other feature that is also unavailable is the "Auto channel Select" function. There is a "Soft Touch" function but it doesn't work like usual... When I touch a physical fader(with MAX running), the channel isn't selected...

I use these functions every day and I think that if MAX doesn't support these shortcuts, I find the software very frustrating...

Maybe I did something wrong ????

Thanks for all your replies.

...And sorry for my awfull French accent !!...

Phil from France.

Phil,

When using MAX, certain functions of the DA7 become redundant or not applicable.

• MAX will not save changes made using the Multi-Channel View function on the DA7 mixer.
• Recalling a Scene memory or a Library on the DA7 mixer
• Using the "UNDO" key on the DA7 mixer

When SoftTouch is turned on, faders on the mixer behave as if they were touch sensitive. When the Edit Mode is Write, simply moving any fader selects it, without pushing a button.

The software is designed to make the faders very responsive to the engineer’s touch. The software, however, does detect and reject such minute changes in fader position, but it is possible for one to occasionally get through.

Since SoftTouch selects faders when they are moved, turn SoftTouch off before mix down.

Check the Preferences dialogue box.
