I am looking for one more DA to round out our aresenal. I would prefer an MKII but will consider an original in the right shape. ADAT cards are preferred but will consider AES. Meter Bridge is a necessity. SMPTE sync card preferred. If you have one that is orphaned and still has its tandem card set, that would be great but not critical. Please e-mail privately at:

mmhaus@yahoo.com

I am ready to move on the right unit immediately.

Jonathan

At the Guitar Center here in Rochester, NY there is a used DA7 for sale REALLY cheap. It IS a MkII and works PERFECTLY, there are NO BOARDS, however and NO METER BRIDGE so you'll have to find those separately, but they're only asking $550 for it and you could probably talk 'em down to $500. If you're interested, talk to my friend Mike Munn there. The number's (585) 424-2188 and they have a 30-day money-back guarantee. Good luck!

Andy,

Thanks for the tip! I called on Monday and the girl on the phone thought I was crazy...I guess it had sat there awhile....anyway, it's here now and in perfect shape. Anyone have an extra meter bridge? I know vincoprod had one for awhile at a great price but I missed the chance to get it on the cheap and lost the bidding on ebay. Let me know. Thanks to all who offer assistance so graciously.

Jonathan

Hey Jonathan. So far the guy who won the auction has not paid. I will let you know if I have another deadbeat on my hands.

Crazy as in "Why would you want that old thing?", crazy as in "I don't know nothin' about what we have here?", crazy as in "You're coming from Pittsburgh?", or crazy as in "What's Pittsburgh?"

I think it was a cosmic combination of all of the above......but more that I had just rolled out of bed and was convinced by the nocturnal boogie dude that if I didn't call right away and lock down that DA7, someone else would walk through the door within minutes and claim it.......I think I said something to that effect......that is where she lost faith in my mental stability.

BTW where is Pittsburgh?
