Well, after decades of faithful service, my DA7 failed to boot up. I don't want to take it to some electronics dump because I'm pretty sure it's just the power supply that gave out. It's got a meter bridge and AES and ADAT expansion cards. I'm sure I have another expansion card as well but have to dig it up.

My question is how do I find a company or store that will be willing to take it for parts or fix it to sell it to someone else? I'm in San Diego.

TIA,
Bill Corkery

Hey!

Provided you've not tossed it yet, if you'd be willing to box it up safely, I'd be happy to pay postage for it. I've been looking for a meterbridge for my second console, and could use a few spare faders and fan.

Let me know!

Not tossed and this is exactly what I was looking for. I'd love to see this old board get more use. It's good for the environment too.

Please send me an email at bcorkery@bcproductions.com

Thanks!

Unfortunately, it looks like it's going to cost too much to ship overseas to Rattanee. If anybody else is interested, please let me know otherwise this old veteran is going to electronics recycling.

I am looking for spare faders - did you toss it, or did you hand it over to someone that can pick parts from it and sell?

I don't think it is realistic to ship the whole machine - I live in Sweden... :-)

That's my problem too, shippping the entire thing is not viable, but I also need faders and other bits and pieces. frown

Unfortunately it's cost prohibitive to send it to Europe. The cheapest I could find is about $1000 US.

I'm getting ready to send it to electronics recycling. frown

Did you happen to have an ADDA card for it that you might be willing to post to the UK? I'll be in Vegas for Defcon if that's any help too?
Thanks.
