Typical liberal responses.

If either of the two of you actually knew anything about this...

Gays are gaining absolutely nothing from this. And, it will be 'squashed' on the November ballot, with not a single 'right' becoming unavailable to this "certain percentage of the population". This was already 'voted' on in California several years ago with the majority of the Blue-State voters NOT wanting it. Deal with it.

This is just another example of the Left-Loon judges making law from the bench.

Actually, what this will do is 'irritate' middle-of-the-road voters and steer them away from the loony-left Prez candidate - which is fine with me.

You lib-quacks lose out - again.

interestingly enough, i think you are right about this. and the re-pubes exploited this by attempting to alter the constitution with an anti-gay marriage amendment.

sad, sad party.

I was going to say. Republicans would much rather debate gay marriage than talk about how they've flushed the country down the toilet.

But my mentioning that medical term has nothing to do with gay marriage, it has to do with the zumbido personality. Everything is a troll.

The question is why you would want to drop it in the first place. Isn't that sort of a moronic thing to want to do?

"Isn't that sort of a moronic thing to want to do?"

There are levels of "moronicness".

I bait, you bite.

You obviously are the bottom-feeder (more moronic).

If I were gay I would be against gay marriage.

I'm willing to bet there are a lot of gay people out there who are with someone and don't want to get married.

I know some relationships I have had would have gone a lot smoother if there wasn't the "big M" hanging over my head.

Plus, now if gays seperate they'll have to get divorced - so this really makes things "equal".

Today's LA Times:

Gay marriage may be a gift to California's economy

Business is up for hotels, bakers and photographers as same-sex couples prepare to wed.
By Alana Semuels, Los Angeles Times Staff Writer
June 2, 2008
Forget economic stimulus checks. Same-sex marriages may give California just the financial boost it needs.

Wedding planners, bakers and hotels began booking more business almost immediately after the state Supreme Court's May 15 decision overturning a ban on gay marriage. Citing pent-up demand, one UCLA study projects that same-sex unions could provide a $370-million shot in the arm to the state economy over the next three years.

"Being in West Hollywood, we've been inundated," said Tom Rosa, owner of the Cake and Art bakery on Santa Monica Boulevard. "After the ruling, the phone really picked up."

Rosa said couples who had waited for decades to legally marry were splurging on 5-foot-tall confections shaped like carousels and cakes featuring handcrafted birds of paradise.
