I had a pair of Grados a few years ago. They were hyped, but they sounded very nice.

Grado's are nice.
For tracking the HD280's are good but if you need isolation you could try these
Moreme
I still like my HD580's for listening.

Any skullcandy headphone is great; mine got soaked and still work great.
Sonys, JVCs, etc are great too, but they tend to be more expensive
