Hi there. I just got my own DA7 and I am trying to get it to work with Cubase 4. Suddenly when I tried to Upgrade it, the damn PC windows xp shit stalled. Then the DA7 suddenly turned into bluescreen mode.

Can anybody pleaaaas help me!!

Now I have tried everything. I have tried to reset it. I have tried to upgrade it but this error message keeps coming up on my computer: " Cannot connect to the DA7. Confirm port"

Have you tried another computer? Sounds like that's where the problem lies.

Now I have tried to switch computer, but it's still same old same old. "Connection error. Confirm a port setting" :-(

I am hopeless right now. Got this huge project going on and I need it to work...

Is there someone out there that know the answer?????

You may be using the wrong serial cable. The one most commonly used was the old Apple "Imagewriter cable," which flips send and receive between the cable ends.

What cable are you using?

I am using a mini DIN 8 pin (male) - DB9 (female)
Everything went fine until the computer stalled and the bluescreen came up. And now nothing at all:-(
