Bummer. I saw him play live several times, he was solid.

RIP T-Bone

Awful, indeed.... I lost my friend musician to heart attack just a week ago. He was 55.

I've been feelin' heavy about this all day ever since reading the news this morning. A real loss to the bass player community and to music in general. T-Bone's one of those guys that a lot of people looked up to even though they might not have realized it. That kind of sounds dumb, but it's definitely true.

Anyway, I'm sad. And I'm going to specifically dedicate every note I play on my new Fender Precision bass (coming in the mail tomorrow) to his memory. Hopefully he appreciates that and influences my note and dynamic choices from the great gig in the sky. wink
