hey, i just heard that there is no support for da7. i own one, love it, but have to have a fader fixed. anyone know where it can be done?

also, to back up the da7's data is a serial connection, and my new mac is usb. how do i back up the da7's data now? (i've owned mine for about 4 years now and am trying to get current again)

one more thing. i want the da7's faders to reflect those in digital performer. seems easy, but i just haven't been able to make it happen. if anyone could give me some advice, i'd sure appreciate it.

thanks in advance,

joel

Joel,

Panasonic still supports RAMSA products with parts and service. For out of warranty repair (most are) you can use any local facility that has the capability of working on either analog or digital mixers.

You can also back-up and restore via MIDI or try a USB-serial adapter (Griffin Stealthport).

See these links for service centers for help with the mixers DAW mode...(they’re posted on this sites main page).

FWIW, at the recent NAMM show several DA7 users approached me to tell me that they still use and rely on the DA7 everyday.

Good luck,

thanks, maric. it's good to know that it hasn't gone the way of the do-do. i rely on it heavily.
