Here are some preliminary sysex midi remote files for the DA7 controlling Protools. It's been a crap shoot and there are alot of problems:
Mutes act as toggle switches ( if mute is on, it turns it off. If mute is off it turns it on ).
Mute channels 7 & 15 take two steps to switch because of missing control change # 6 & # 38 on the DA7.
With the CS-10 template, DA7 fadeers chase Protools faders. (good)
With the DC-16 template, Prootools faders chase the DA7 faders, (not good)
NO BI-DIRECTIONAL CONTROL WITH THE CS-10 & DC-16 TEMPLATES ! so don't ask.
When using CS-10 template, only 8 cahnnels can be used, midi channel 16.( not good )
When using DC-16 template 16 channels can be used, midi channel 16.( good)

NOTE: I don't know what I'm doing so don't ask me. I gotten this far with limited knowledge, with the hopes that someone can tell me if or not I'm on the right track.
Hopefully this inspires further discussion on this matter.

BTW: Anyone seen the "Sound for Picture" cover in MIX magazine ? (page 81 )
Just the concept of a touch screen controller for Protools makes me wanna come ....87P.... And i sit in a room with my da7, trying to make it move faders...........pitiful
